In summer 2025, I made a quilt from neckties. Both the front and back were made from hexagon shapes. But what made it unusual was that the hexagons were two different sizes.

My goal was to use up as much of the neckties as possible. The larger hexagons came the wider sections of the neckties while the smaller hexagons came from the more narrow sections. Amazingly, the math worked out!
