Examples of button necklaces designed by Gloria Brown

Button Jewelry

These button necklaces were designed by my mom, Gloria Brown, as part of the Family Nature Summit program. She offered this activity in 2009 at Silver Bay YMCA in New York state as part of a green lifestyles evening.

I was a facilitator at the Family Nature Summits from 2002-2013 and taught at nine Summits. I taught crafts such as hand quilting, crazy quilting with neckties and rug hooking. I also organized green lifestyle bus tours where we visited green innovators near the event. My mom also taught craft classes at the Summits including sailboat bird feeders.

Here are her button jewelry designs for inspiration!
