Weaving a dress bodice from plastic bags

Nora and I officially now have a plastic bag weaving addiction. We are weaving a bodice for Trashion Fashion dresses that we want to wear in the May 21st event. It will be at Reagan National Airport – a Thursday in the afternoon. Not super for missing school, but it will be amazing!

For the bodice, we used long loops of white plastic bags for the warp. We wrapped the warp threads with an extra loop to make them stronger. And now we are weaving in the colorful bags.

We really need more colorful plastic bags if you have any!!! It is incredible how many bags are going into this dress. We have cut up probably 100 already?

Feed our weaving addiction and ensure both our dresses are colorful!
